The Indian cricket team’s schedule in 2025 promises to be yet another action-packed year with the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup and the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy standing out as marquee tournaments.

The Indian men’s cricket team will begin 2025 with the final Test of their World Test Championship (WTC) cycle 2023-25 against Australia in Sydney. India’s first home assignment will feature England, with five T20s and three ODIs starting January 22.

The ICC Champions Trophy, set to be played in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates in February-March, will see India look to reclaim the title they last won in 2013 under MS Dhoni.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will dominate India’s cricket calendar from March to May, with no international fixtures scheduled during the window.

India’s WTC 2025-27 campaign will kick off with a five-match Test series in England in June.

The Indian women’s cricket team will start its year with a three-match ODI series at home against Ireland in January’s second week. The Women’s Premier League (WPL) will be played in February-March.

The ICC Women’s ODI World Cup will be hosted in India with the dates and venues still to be confirmed. Harmanpreet Kaur’s side will have the perfect stage to claim their maiden ICC trophy. The team has finished as the runners-up twice before in the ODI World Cup.
