Indian badminton ace Sindhu defeated Estonia’s Kristin Kuuba in the women’s singles group stage match at the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 31. Sindhu has now entered the Round of 16, also known as the pre-quarters.Sindhu dominated her second and final Group M encounter at the La Chapelle Arena, scoring 21-5, 21-10.

Sindhu won the opening round 21-5 in just 14 minutes, and she continued her domination in the second round, winning 21-10 in 19 minutes. In her next round, Sindhu may potentially play China’s He Bingjiao in the next Round of 1.

On Sunday, the two-time Olympic medalist won her opening match, defeating Maldives’ Fathimath Abdul Razzaq 21-9, 21-6. Sindhu, who is looking for her third Olympic medal, defeated her lower-ranked opponent in Group M in just 29 minutes.
